Give our team a call on 07377 938688. We will ask a few questions about your car to provide you with an initial price for your job and let you know when we can have a technician with you.
If you are happy with the quote, we will get the job booked in and have one of our team with you as soon as possible.
On arriving on the scene, the first thing we need to do is to gain entry to your car. If you are locked out, we will unlock your car using non-destructive methods.
The next step is to create your new key. We will use our equipment to read the key design from the car’s lock so we can copy it.
We will pick a blank key or fob to suit your vehicle from the range carried in our vans.
The whole process can be completed in as little as an hour, leaving you to get on with your day.

What do I do if I’ve locked my keys in the car?

If you are locked out of your car and don't have access to the spare key give us a call. Our team have the skills to gain entry to any make of car/vehicle in a non-destructive manner.

How much does it cost to replace a car key?

The good news is that with Car Key Direct, you'll pay much less to replace your car keys than you would by going to a main dealership. The cost to replace your car key depends on the make, model and age of the car and what immobiliser the car has. The key type also effects the price, with factors including: if it is a remote key fob, whether it has keyless entry and whether it is a key made before 1995 without the chip. What area do you cover?

From our base in Bingley our fully mobile auto locksmiths cover the surrounding areas of Bradford, Skipton, Ilkley, Halifax, Burnley, Colne and the rest of West Yorkshire and East Lancashire.

Can I get a car key made without the original?

If you have lost your only car key it's not a problem for our team. All that is required is your vehicle identification number (VIN) found in the logbook/V5C. We can then provide you with a replacement and re-program the new car key to match your vehicle. The old key will be de-programmed to make it useless, in case it has been stolen.

Can you provide keys for other types of vehicle?

Our auto locksmith can work with other vehicle types, not just cars. We can also provide replacement keys for vans, trucks, motorbikes and motor scooters.

What information do you need from me to get a replacement key?

In order to provide keys to a vehicle we usuaallty require a form of ID, our car’s vehicle identification number (VIN) and your V5C logbook to prove you own the car.
